Big Concept, How Did It Happen?
The owner of Brilliant had always wanted a "Hired Wife". Someone to take care of the grocery shopping, clean the house, run errands, empty the litter boxes in a pinch, hang a set of blinds.....the list goes on. She looked high and low but could not find a Treasure Valley business that would step up and say, "We can take care of all your household needs." She had also grown increasingly frustrated with the service providers she did hire. They either didn't have a system for implementing feedback or just had an all too long list of things they didn't do.
Understanding that clients would benefit from a full service approach, Kris launched Brilliant Services, as a residential cleaning company dedicated to providing a superior service based on: Resolute responsiveness to client feedback; A commitment to providing a Living Wage to its employees; And a commitment to continuous improvement. This resulted in a company that is like no other in Boise or the Treasure Valley. Brilliant Services, LLC operates by anticipating and preventing errors, building customized client solutions and implementing feedback to ensure any less than fabulous experiences are prevented from happening again.
Inside of a year, Brilliant Services grew from 1 to 4 employees and began to offer professional flooring maintenance, window washing, lawn and courier services. Commercial cleaning/janitorial services were added in Year 2.
In Year 3, Brilliant Services found additional needs within its client base and through various networks including BNI, the Boise & Meridian Chambers, NAWBO, and NARPM. Brilliant began adding Approved Vendors - tradespersons and craftsmen that can deliver service to Brilliant's clients at the level Brilliant demands. With this, it began offering a full range of property solutions that include handyman, remodeling and construction services.
Year 4 brought more improvements and refinements. While maintaining it's core business of Residential and Commerical property maintenance, Brilliant also became a certified DBE firm (Woman Owned Business), renewed it's Public Works License and began doing work for public and federal clients.
Social Responsibility
Another unique aspect of Brilliant Services is our dedication to the environment and to social responsibility. We use Green cleaning solutions whenever possible and always use a “least invasive first” approach.
At Brilliant Services we pay all our employees a “Living Wage”. We don’t run low wage crews. All of our employees are hand picked for their skills, work ethic and ability to make decisions. Your home or business is in the capable hands of an employee who is directly involved in client retention. This means your team brings a “can do” attitude and is invested in working to help you accomplish YOUR needs and goals.
